Tim Tucker has been a member of Providence Church since 2004 and an elder since 2008. Tim grew up Presbyterian, married a Southern Baptist, and along the way, he discovered the life-changing love of God, who pursues us, fathers us, restores and redeems us. He has a deep desire for others to experience this same intimate, transformative relationship with God.
A civil engineer, Tim works for a consulting firm in Knoxville. He earned a B.A. from Carson-Newman University and a B.S. and M.S. from Tennessee Tech. One of his passions is using his engineering skills on mission, and he has traveled to Kenya and Guatemala to design water systems for impoverished communities.
Tim and his wife, Susan, have been married for 20 incredible years. They share a love of worship, good stories, road trips, and long naps. Their greatest delight is adventuring with their two sons, Seth and Reed, whether that means camping, hiking, traveling, or just sharing daily life with a tween and teen.
