Polly Sumner

Creation Station Coordinator

If you have young children, you have seen Polly around the Creation Station hallway. She is over our Creation Station Ministry, which is for preschoolers through Kindergarten. She’s a native of Brazil, so if there’s ever any confusion with your child’s class, watch out for her pulling the “language barrier” card (prepositions are hard for everyone, right?) As Creation Station Coordinator, she handles the curriculum and coordinates the volunteers who care for our youngest age groups. She grew up working in Children’s ministry and the little ones hold the key to her heart.

Polly moved to the US from Brazil in 2003 after her marriage to Tim. She holds a law degree from Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil & has been on staff at Providence since 2013.

Polly & Tim have two daughters: JoJo and Camilla. She likes to travel as often as she can to Brazil. She also enjoys bike rides with her family and their yorkie Nacho, spending time with her gringo friends & baking cupcakes.
