Jesse Cragwall

Elder

Jesse Cragwall is the founder and Executive Director of GPI. A native East Tennessean, his rich experience includes working on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C., as well as the University of Tennessee educational system, before joining the military. For the past six years, Jesse has been an officer in the U.S. Army, serving in both Iraq and Afghanistan, where as a civil affairs officer he worked with tribal and government officials to create a stable government and economic infrastructure. Between deployments Jesse worked on staff at One Vision International, a Knoxville-based missions organization. Starting in 2010, God began to move in Jesse’s heart to start a new organization intended to help local churches impact the world. As the result of much prayer, GPI was born.

Jesse holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Maryville College, as well as a Master of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He is married to the former Leslie Hardwick and they two daughters Ellie and Jillian. The Cragwalls reside in Knoxville and are members of Providence Church, where Jesse serves as an Elder.
