Chase was born and raised in Knoxville, Tn. We came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior when he was nine years old. He began feeling God call him to ministry during his junior year at South Doyle High School. God continually confirmed that call over the next few years. Chase played football at the University of Tennessee for two and a half years before transferring to Carson Newman, where he had the privilege of playing under Coach Ken Sparks. Through programs like FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), he was able to gain ministry experience while being a student-athlete.
While he was at UT, he met Krissy and eventually talked her into being his wife on December 14, 2013. They have a two-year-old named Deacon and a seven-month-old named Barrett, but they call him Bear. Chase’s call to ministry is important, but he sees his call to being a Godly husband and father as just as important.
