Providence’s outward focus permeates most of what we do. Because we place high value on sharing the Good News of Christ with others, virtually all of our ministries are about reaching and including unconnected people (rather than merely focusing “inwardly” on our our own members). There are many ways that Providence’s influence extends outside the walls and ministries of our church.

We are convinced that the church is the hope of the world. Providence is a small part of a greater worldwide family — the church universal — made up of all believers of all places and times.

As a part of the church universal, we desire the growth of all local churches that are healthy, biblically functioning communities. Local churches are God’s way of communicating his love and grace to people, proclaiming the gospel in local language and cultural forms, living in biblical community, and serving with compassion in their cities and neighborhoods to bring about real change. We want to prioritize helping to start news churches! We want to be a church that shares and shows the love of Christ to our community and world. That is our primary strategy for changing the world. We share a vision to see a disciple making, being, and unleashing church within reach of every person in the world.
