Jamie joined the student ministry staff in April 2010.  Before coming to Providence Jamie has served in student ministry for the past 10 years in two other churches in east Tennessee.  He feels a life-long calling to student ministry in some capacity.  He has a strong passion for teaching God’s Word to students, helping them develop into leaders, and challenging them to use their gifts to serve.  Jamie earned his Bachelor’s degree from Carson-Newman College in 2002 and his Master’s degree from Southern Seminary in 2007.  Jamie is married to his beautiful wife Liza and they have two sons, Micah and Jonah.
