Creation Station – Ages 0-5
Teacher – Every Week or Every Other Week: Serve in a classroom with children ranging in age from 2 years-Kindergarten. Curriculum is provided, usually involving a welcome activity, large group time, craft and a snack.
Helper – Every Week, Every Other Week or Once a Month: Help in a classroom (help teacher implement curriculum with ages 2-Kindergarten, or general nursery duties for birth-2).
Greeter – Every Other Week, 30 minutes (15 minutes prior to start of service through 15 minutes after start of service): Welcome families at the Creation Station Desk and sign-in children via RDS (computerized sign-in). Welcome visitors and collect necessary information.
Coach – Every Other Week: Greet visitors, help with registration cards and escort families to proper class. Introduce teachers/helpers to visiting families. Close the hallway twenty minutes after the service begins. Remain at the Creation Station desk throughout assigned service. Monitor hallway, assisting volunteers as needed with getting supplies, etc. from Resource Room. Notify sound booth to post Creation Station number if a parent is needed. Answer questions, assist greeters as needed and combine classrooms as needed.
Curriculum – Every Week: Help with editing curriculum (can be done during the week at home).
Supplies – Every Week: Load bins every week with prepared supplies; check supplies in rooms; help with preparing crafts (needs to be done during the week).
