Discovery Street – 1st-4th Grade

Lots of Opportunities in Discovery Street!

Small Group Leader

Becomes a primary role model for a small group of approximately 10 children and encourages spiritual growth through relationships, discussions, and other small group activities.  Time commitment: 1-2 hours weekly or bi-weekly

Helper/Floater

Assists the small group leader on Sunday mornings.  Time Commitment: 1 hour a week on a bi-monthly rotation

Greeter

Serves at the Discovery Street welcome desk, on Sunday morning.  Helps parents through the process of getting kids registered and also explains to parents how DS is designed.  Time Commitment: 45 minutes weekly

Coach

Provides leadership and support to a team of five to ten small group leaders, communicates with Discovery Street coordinator and leaders during the week, and oversees the learning environment within the classroom. – Time Commitment: 1.5-2 hours per week.

Substitute Positions

Being available as needed as a small group helper, leader, or greeter.- Time commitment: 1-2 hours weekly as needed

KIDZ BLITZ & KIDSTUF CLUBHOUSE OPPORTUNITIES

Actor, Tech Person, Storyteller, Creative Writer, Kidstuf Dancer, Host, Worship & Dance coordinator, Prop coordinator.
