Kenny brings a wealth of experience to the elder body of Providence. He has been both a pastor and elder of Baptist and Presbyterian churches. Interestingly, God has called Kenny to minister in a non-vocational role, as he works for Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. Susan, his wife, is also involved in business and ministry, serving, among other things, as a counselor with Hope Resource Center in Knoxville. They have two grown children, Rachel and Amy. The Smiths have been with Providence since 2004.
